Navigating certification with BRCGS and SALSA
August 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm BST
Should you apply for certification schemes such as SALSA and BRCGS?
Join Bonnie Joplin from SALSA and John Figgins from BRCGS to find out more about their memberships, audits and courses on offer. Many of the multiple grocers and pubcos request this level of accreditation before you can supply them so we wanted to provide Club Soda members with this helpful session where you can also ask Bonnie & John questions.
SALSA is a non-profit making joint venture founded by the four main trade associations; NFU, fdf, UKH & ifst that provides a food safety certification scheme for smaller food producers and suppliers. In addition to the SALSA Standard, a SALSA plus Beer audit has been developed in association with Cask Marque. The audit includes the SALSA standard plus a dedicated section on brewing.
BRCGS’s Global Standards for Food Safety, Packaging and Packaging Materials, Storage and Distribution, Consumer Products, Agents and Brokers, Retail, Gluten-Free, Plant-Based and Ethical Trading set the benchmark for good manufacturing practice, and help provide assurance to customers that your products are safe, legal and of high quality.
This event is free for Club Soda Brand Members and #10 to non-members. Members will get a diary invite and a direct link in their emails.
