Queers Without Beers – Cocktail Masterclass with Lyres

May 28 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

🍸 Never had time to whip up a fabulous cocktail at home?
🍹 Always wanted a signature cocktail for parties?
✨ Want to prove that the alcohol-free option can be as legendary as any other drink?

Then join Scott Pearson (@proudandsober) at 6.30pm on May 28th for a Queers Without Beers cocktail masterclass with Lyre’s brand ambassador, Danny Shell

Danny will be showing you how you can use the Lyre’s Espresso Martini cocktail set to make not only an Espresso Martini but also a Coffee Affogato and a Mojito.

That’s three cocktails for you to make at home from one cocktail set!

To help you get involved with the masterclass from home, Lyre’s are offering an exclusive Queers Without Beers discount of 20% on any orders when using the code QWB20

On top of all that you could win a cocktail set of your choice by entering Lyre’s exclusive Queers Without Beers competition

Proud and Sober and Club Soda are teaming up to provide a space for the sober/sober-curious LGBTQI+ community for mutual support in this safe, virtual space to meet, chat and socialise from 6.30pm GMT. It has been so popular that we have now made it even bigger and moved to Zoom!

It doesn’t matter where you are in the world or on your Mindful Drinking journey but sharing and support on that journey – week in and week out, is something we can all use. Doing this online is one way we can do this when we are isolated and feeling vulnerable.

So grab your computer and a nice AF drink, find a quiet space and make yourself comfy.

Join other QWB members for a natter, some accountability and some real advice from people who have been there and done that!

But if you want to keep updated about QWB events in London, Manchester and Bristol you can join our mailing list here http://eepurl.com/dwt9n5

How does it work?

The location for the meeting is on this link here https://zoom.us/j/93491133680 at the advertised time. This platform is easy to use and also has a native app that you will need to download before joining the room so make sure this is all set up before the scheduled time.

Online Social rules

  1. Just show up on the day.  If you can’t get in then the room is full.
  2. What people discuss in the meeting is confidential, so please respect people’s privacy and don’t discuss the meeting elsewhere.
  3. You don’t have to say anything, you can just listen – there is no obligation, but the more you contribute the more everyone will get from the session.
  4. Note: this is a facilitated meetup, not therapy. Our facilitators are not qualified coaches but will use their experience to guide the discussion to enable mutual support.
