Bloody Fruit Punch

Blood at Tonic Cordial

Mr Firzpatrick’s sell a cordial which is fascinatingly named ‘Blood Tonic’. I think that’s because it’s supposed to be good for your blood? But the name is too good to waste. It’s made from rosehips and nettles, which sounds appropriately witchy, and is a good source of vitamins A, C, D and E.

Ingredients

15ml Lime Juice
15ml Blood Tonic Cordial (Mr Fitzpatrick’s)
2x Blood Orange Slices
3x Mint Leaves
Ginger Ale to dilute & Garnish with a lime slice and mint sprig.

Method

Pour in cordial and lime juice. Half fill the glass with ice, add orange slices and mint, add more ice, fill with ginger ale/ginger beer, add straw and garnish.
