Sisters Raissa and Joyce De Haas were born and raised in the Netherlands, famous for its gin. They noticed that while the world of spirits was constantly evolving and becoming more vibrant, there wasn’t so much development happening in the world of mixers. They decided to create a range of mixers with surprising flavour pairings to enhance the spirits they were paired with.
They experimented with different flavours and tested them on friends and family. The duo moved to London to complete a joint masters in Tech Entrepreneurship. This is when they developed Double Dutch as a business. They were awarded the best dissertation in their year.
