Moderato Red

Sebastien and Fabien decided to launch Moderato two years ago to pioneer a new way in no alcohol wines: being able to enjoy wine without the downsides. Sebastien comes from a family of distillers in Cognac and Fabien has a background in sustainable drinks. They teamed up to create 0.0% cuvées, low in sugar and dedicated to wine lovers. “No compromise on quality” is Moderato’s credo and, together with their oenologist, Frédéric, they aim to craft the perfect non-alcoholic wines, a goal that requires countless hours selecting the best-suited wines that offer the desired balance for each specific cuvée. Once selected, the wines are gently de-alcoholised through a process of low temperature vacuum distillation. The final touch is the “assemblage”, or blending, which consists of finding the perfect expression for each wine. Moderato offers a complete unparalleled and handsomely awarded range of non-alcoholic wines with its Red, Rosé, White and Sparkling cuvées.
