Thanks to Athletic Brewing’s generous support, we have a small travel bursary for those who could not otherwise afford to attend the conference. The bursary can cover travel, accommodation, or conference ticket costs. Read on to find out how to apply.

Who is the bursary for?

Drink brands, alcohol-free shops and bars, public sector or small charitable organisations interested in progressing the visibility and availability of low and alcohol-free drinks globally.

What does the bursary cover?

The bursary can cover travel, accommodation or conference tickets. If you have accessibility needs then it can also help with this.

How much can I apply for?

The maximum amount you can apply for is £250 for international travel and £150 for UK-based attendees. This will contribute towards your travel and accommodation costs. We ask that you only apply if attending the event would be impossible without some support.

All bursary tickets for the conference are valued at £120 vat inclusive.

What if I am not sure what the final amount will be?

You may not know the final travel costs yet, but you may know the rough amount. Appy for what you think you need, and then if it comes to less, you can invoice us for the final amount, which means we can help someone else.

When will I hear?

We will let everyone know as soon as we can, but certainly by the start of August 2024

How will I receive the funds?

By bank or international money transfer upon receipt of an invoice detailing the costs.

What else will I need to do?

As part of the deal, if possible, you will need to mention in one Instagram and one LinkedIn post that you travelled with thanks to an LLAF Conference Bursary supported by Athletic Brewing or be happy to be included in a post by us about the scheme.
