Freestar launched in 2019 but the story began a few years before when the team spent a Tuesday night together. They had things to do that week and didn’t want to drink alcohol. This was when they first thought about making their own alcohol-free beers.
Freestar aims to champion the new generation of drinking culture, offering people a great choice when they’re not drinking. They set out early in their journey to become a B Corp and were the first alcohol-free beer globally to gain the certification. In 2020 they started a mentoring hotline to help young people get into the world of work which has been a huge success.
