Nirvana came to be when founder Becky’s dad decided to stop drinking. At the time, there were very few alcohol-free beers on the market, and Becky felt that people who choose not to drink shouldn’t be excluded socially. So she set about setting up her own brewery.
Nirvana’s beers have won awards every year they’ve been brewing including best AF Lager, multiple international taste awards and a lifetime achievement award from the Alcohol-Free Beer Awards. The brewery is currently supporting the people of Ukraine with the profits from its seasonal special edition, building on its history of community engagement.
