This summer, Club Soda is hitting the south coast for a celebration of the world’s best low and no alcohol drinks. Join us for our tenth Mindful Drinking Festival on 9 and 10 July in Brighton.

We’re filling Brighton’s famous Open Market with the best low and no-alcohol drinks available. Come along, bring your friends and discover:

Drinks masterclasses at the festival

The Mindful Drinking Festival is the perfect opportunity to dive deeper and discover all types of alcohol-free drinks, guided by mindful drinking experts. Whether you’re interested in mindful cocktail-making, alcohol-free wine or beer, or want an overview of the best drinks on the market, there’s a masterclass with your name on it.

Masterclasses are being held on the market balcony. All the masterclasses are free of charge, but you must book a ticket to secure your place – this is in addition to your regular festival ticket. You can book your masterclass tickets in advance, or sign up on the day using the QR codes around the festival. Places are strictly limited though, so book now to ensure you don’t miss out!

Festival events, panels and keynotes

Alongside the festival, we’re running a programme of talks, panel discussions and keynote sessions with invited guest speakers. All these events are being hosted at Presuming Ed, a fabulous coffee shop just around the corner from the market at 114-115, London Rd, Brighton BN1 4JG. There’s need to book in advance for any of these events. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kicking off our programme on Saturday is keynote speaker Veronica Valli, author, podcaster and creator of the Soberful programme. She’ll be speaking with Club Soda co-founder Laura Willoughby about living an alcohol-free life. And on Sunday, we’re joined by the brilliant comedian, accidental relationship guru and author of The Breakup Monologues Rosie Wilby to discuss mindfully navigating breakups, and even finding joy in them! Plus there are panel discussions and talks on everything from sober summers to cutting down wine. Where is the Mindful Drinking Festival happening?

July’s Mindful Drinking Festival is being held at Brighton’s historic Open Market.

Brighton Open Market is on the London Road, and can be accessed from Marshalls Row and Ditchling Road. The Market is between Francis Street and Baker Street, less than a 10-minute walk from Brighton’s mainline train station.

Our drinks masterclasses are happening on the market balcony. Speaking events, talks and panel discussions will be at Presuming Ed at 114-115 London Road, just around the corner from the market itself. All events will be signposted from the main market, but feel free to ask a member of the Club Soda team if you need directions!
