Another year, another London Cocktail Week. So, what’s the big news for this year?
Well, not only can you search for the venues serving low & no-alcohol cocktails to make it easier to create your plan of attack, but there are also three entirely alcohol-free venues included (all three Redemption Bar locations). To top off yet another fabulous move forward for LCW, La Maison Wellness founder Camille ran a series of mindful pop-up masterclasses at The Well. The classes featured everything from yoga to managing stress, and included a guest appearance from our co-founder Laura to discuss mindful drinking and the creation of alcohol-free spirits. After the events are complete, the bar downstairs will be transformed into a mindful-drinking speakeasy serving bespoke cocktails from five internationally-renowned bartenders.
We love to see the evolution of the mindful drinking movement taking place at festivals like London Cocktail Week, via bold moves forward like this, and it reminds us that things can only continue to get better.
Whether you’re alcohol-free or drinking less this year, you can confidently immerse yourself in the glitz of LCW and feel just as valued as those partaking in the full-strength offerings.
If you didn’t make it along to Camille’s events at the weekend or to the final few days of the festival, then to help alleviate your FOMO we’re sharing a couple of delicious cocktail recipes below for you to try your hand at, at home:
