Brulo was founded in Spring 2019 by James Brown with the desire to create quality, hop forward alcohol-free craft beer for the modern world. They launched with a simple promise, to only make beer that they love. It’s all about taste, quality and creativity. Using the finest ingredients, innovative yeast cultures and modern brewing techniques to create beers that are always alcohol-free, vegan and never compromise on taste. Since launching their first two beers, Brulo has made waves with bold new beer releases such as their Single Hop Series and Double Dry Hop Series.
As a new and independent brewery, Brulo is free to experiment and push the boundaries. With lots of new unique offerings available each year, they pride themselves on the diversity of their range. The brand understands the role that design plays in the experience of craft beer. Their designer, James Ockelford, was looking at 1960s Japanese poster design when he came across the eye – now the focal branding element for the brewery. The wide-open eye featured on Brulo cans represents being fully awakened – present – sober.
