Founded in 1979, Clausthaler was born out of the vision to create a non-alcoholic beer that looks and tastes like a full-strength one. By developing an innovative process in which fermentation is stopped just before the alcohol begins to develop, the Clausthaler Brewmasters opened the door to quality non-alcoholic beer. Developed by Weihenstephan-trained brewers, The Clausthaler range of beers is brewed using a patented method, resulting in great-tasting, full-bodied beers. Clausthaler core range beers are brewed to the German Purity Law of 1516, utilising only water, barley malt, hops, and yeast in the brew, ensuring the highest quality end product. Science and technology are at the heart of Clausthaler’s values with Controlled fermentation being an innovative way to brew non-alcoholic beer. Over the past four decades, Clausthaler has expanded beyond the German market and now exports to more than 50 countries.
