Founded in 1979, Clausthaler was born out of the vision to create a non-alcoholic brew that looks and tastes like a full-strength, good beer. By developing an innovative process in which fermentation is stopped just before alcohol begins to develop, the Clausthaler Brewmasters opened the door to quality non-alcoholic beer. Developed by Weihenstephan-trained brewers, The Clausthaler range of beers is brewed using a patented method, resulting in great-tasting, full-bodied beers.

The core range of Clausthaler beer is brewed to the German Purity Law of 1516, using only water, barley malt, hops and yeast in the brew, ensuring the highest quality end product. Over the past four decades, Clausthaler has expanded beyond the German market and now exports to over fifty countries.
