Club Soda is a mindful drinking movement. We help people to change their relationship with alcohol, whether that means cutting down, taking a break, or stopping altogether. We provide courses to guide you on this journey, have large online communities to support people with change, and we also create and curate content that helps our communities along the way.
We lobby for change at the highest level, whether that’s fighting to adjust alcohol labelling laws in the UK, or nudging pubs, bars, and venues to provide better options for those who are not drinking.
Our topics are broad reaching, we aim to include a diverse range of voices to meet the needs of our readership. Alcohol intersects with many aspects of life, and our content reflects this. We explore topics such as diet, exercise, sex, gender, identity, work, relationships, parenting, race, and more.
We’re creating a space where everyone feels welcome, and can find something relatable. We want our readers to feel that they are seen, heard, and supported.
We are committed to amplifying the voices that are often not so loud in the sobriety and alcohol-change world. People from the LGBTQ+ community, Black people and people of colour, those with disabilities and men, who we see struggle to talk about these issues.
If you don’t see yourself mentioned above, please rest assured that we still want to hear from you and read your pitches.
We are looking for audio and written content.
Really, the sky’s the limit. If your story is about how alcohol intersects with your life, then we want to read it. We are not just about sobriety, we are welcoming of content around moderation and changing your behaviour. Maybe you want to talk about alcohol and medication, or alcohol and pregnancy, alcohol in the workplace, or gender identity and alcohol.
We publish personal essays, listicles, articles about low and no drinks, and opinion pieces. Content does not always need to be aimed at people struggling personally with alcohol, you may wish to write something for those that are in proximity to them, for example partners and friends.

You can submit work by completing the form below. Before sending a pitch or article, please take a look at our site and make sure it isn’t too similar to something we have already published. We aim to provide a broad variety of content and you stand a better chance of your pitch being selected if it stands out from previous articles published on our site.
Please note that we may not be able to respond to every pitch, but we will do our best. It may take us a few weeks to reply to your pitch.
